Ed Kolasinski - President, CEO

Ed Kolasinski is Smokey Wood's CEO (Omnia Wood Products) and brings extensive operational, financial and leadership experience in public, private and early-stage organizations. He has led numerous companies through significant business growth, turnaround and reorganization efforts.

As COO of Puralytics, a disruptive early-stage water purification technology company, he raised capital and implemented financial and operational infrastructure to support the company’s rapid growth.

Previously, Mr. Kolasinski was President of United Pipe & Supply, a wholesale distributor of products and services to the water and wastewater industries, growing the company from $120 Million to $212 Million in Sales with over a 400% improvement in profitability.

He was also involved with three previous startups and served on the Board of Directors of PPV Bravo Environmental and @pos, Inc

 

Derek Taylor - Owner

Derek Taylor is the COO of Three Leaf Partners and a former Equity Partner at the national law firm, Husch Blackwell LLP. He leads Three Leaf Partners in real estate development and acquisition opportunities nationally and supports the private equity investments of Three Leaf Partners and their partners. 

Derek also competes in the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS), Steak Cook-off Association (SCA), and Wisconsin and Texas BBQ circuits under the team name “Come and Smoke It™” and manufactures his own proprietary BBQ seasoning rubs for both Come and Smoke It™ and Smokey Woods™.
